SMS Directory for HR
The SMS DIRECTORY is employee directory information services on mobile without the use of GPRS/WAP enabled handsets. The service gives access to employee’s information just by sending a simple SMS in a defined format.
The SMS DIRECTORY service uses a smart search engine in the back-end to read and reply a directory query. The query always needs to be sent in a pre-defined format.
E.g. DIR Firstname Lastname to 57575XXX.
When this query is received at the back-end the smart search engine looks in the database for the respective First Name and Last Name sent and replies back the SMS with entire details including email address, landline number, extension (if any), location and so on.
The most important fact about the application is that it does not directly interact with the company’s database. The entire database of the employees is just uploaded in a simple XML file on a predefined URL. The data is completely secure and is restricted to defined group of company employees.

The project was conceptualized & developed working closely with the client and integration of search engine with the bSmartCode was the main concern. Search Engine was developed according to the client requirement.
