TRIDENT Sales Force Automation (SFA)
In as the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Industry, visibility of data in the field is essential yet difficult to provide. A large number of SKU's and large amounts of information for each SKU, contribute to the unavailability of, and discrepancy in, data received and collected in the field. Keeping this problem in mind, bSmart has developed a module of TRIDENT, as a client application for the BlackBerry®, to help the sales teams and distributors to receive and send back real time sales information. The application helps the ‘feet-on-street’ to generate electronic receipts directly on the BlackBerry®, while simultaneously transmitting that data back to its head-quarters for real time authentication, tracking and updating, as and when the sale is recorded. The functionality of this service if vast, enabling one to map distributors and resellers, generating multiple dataset entries, order returns, translate raw data into desired reporting formats, manage inventory, track sales staff movement etc.
